This is just as found heavy engraved barrel and side lock plate. Curl on trip is a sign on age as welll as masked butt cap. These Spanish colonial pistols traded with Indians. Rare to find such a untouched piece. I think there is loss to the wood near of front of the barrel. Dating 1680-1720. This pistol measures 18 inches in length.
